Hello fellow CS mates!

It’s time to celebrate spooky HALLOWEEN!

We will be having our first theme day this Thursday, 29/10/09. You are encouraged to dress up to fit the theme of Halloween, be creative and wild as possible. Splash on your thick gothic makeup’s and scare the hell out of us!

A booth will be set up for trickntreats. Also, be spotted by our photographers and the best-dressed will win a mysterious gift.

P&P is searching for people who love writing, photography, designing or advertising.

Writers will be dealing mainly with the publication of COMMA, our yearly school magazine. One can look forward to getting editorial space and their views heard on CI Club events by the CI community.

If you are an avid shutterbug who is interested in doing events and concept shots, you are the person we are looking for. Join P&P as a Photographer to share priceless moments captured with the CS community!

Those who love art, design and advertising can join P&P as a designer or simply be part of the team who produce extensive publicity materials, literally.  One will be mainly helping out in activities such as painting and even installations. Experience is not vital though it would be a bonus.

Sports (Inter-School Games 2009 Sub-committee)
1 to 2 positions for each sport.

We are recruiting team managers and coaches for the 13 sports in ISG.

Team managers will arrange for regular training sessions of their respective sports, making sure players are committed to the teams, co-coordinating with the sports secretaries with regards to logistical and equipment needs. There will also be some general administrative duties to ensure that the players are well equipped and prepared for the ISG.

The team coaches are just, Coaches. They will train the teams in terms of fitness and technique. They are required to assign the best roles for the players (in team sports) and co-ordinate with the team managers the strategies for competition.

The 13 sports are:
• Soccer (guys)
• Futsal (girls)
• Floorball (mixed)
• Frisbee (mixed)
• Captain’s Ball (mixed)
• Netball (girls)
• Table Tennis (mixed)
• Tennis (mixed)
• Badminton (mixed)
• Basketball (guys)
• Basketball (girls)
• Volleyball (guys)
• Volleyball (girls)
• Touch Rugby (mixed)
• Road Relay (mixed)

It is not necessary for the manager or coach to actually participate in the sport during ISG. What we are looking for are passionate, dedicated and inspiring individuals who can rally their respective teams together for the GLORY OF CS (No, it’s not cheesy. If not for glory, then for what?!)
